Question

I have a 89 525I BMW on a cold morning the car will start and all the windows work and the radio works and the wipers work. After about 5 -20 minutes it shuts down and none of the above works pretty much the rest of the day.   Could it be a module or somethingelse and if so where do I find the module.

  1. How many miles are on this BMW?
  2. Can you clarify, does the engine die while it's running and will not retart? Or does only the accessories you listed stop working?

275000 MILES,NO THE ENGINE DOES NOT DIE WHILE RUNNING HOWEVER IT DOES IDLE AT 500 WHEN THE AIR IS OFF WHEN ON IT RUNS AT 700 TO 1000.THOUGHS ARE THE ONLY ACCESSORIES THAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CHECK BECAUSE AFTER FIVE MINUTES EVERY ONE OF THOUGHS ACCESSORIES THAT I listed earlier shut down.
