Answer

Hi,

It sounds like your kitty has two different problems going on. She most likely has a urinary tract infection. They often cause a cat to urinate frequently, and in inappropriate places. Here is a link to a page about them:

Tortoiseshells in particular are not prone to mouth problems. It sounds like yours may have a type of eosinophilic granuloma complex. The cause of this is not known for sure. There is a type of ulcer called a rodent ulcer that usually forms on the upper lip that sounds like what your cat may have. Here is a link to a page about this problem:

http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_eosinophilic_granuloma.html

Of course, it could be something else, too. Since I can't actually see your cat I will also give you a link to a page that has a chart of skin problems:

http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=1&cat=1338&articleid=202

For both of the problems that your cat has I would recommend taking her to your veterinarian for a diagnosis and treatment. There is not much you can do at home for either issue.
