yes! but crank position sensor not reading. jeep acts like out of time,i was told those years not interchangable because of electronics

oh i see you already changed motors?did you use the eletronics from the old motor onto the new motor?

yes im getting fuel,fire but motor turns over and acts like out of time.had checked out at shop timing,fuel pressure all good. motors same 4.0 6cyl.that why thinking electronics!

ok what im getting at here is -im trying to determine if the dristributers are of different operating systems-did you buy the new distributor for the same year car as yours or did you buy it for the motor that you put in the jeep?

yes everything has been check and checked again.had put on computer but giving wierd reading like temperature 250 and motor not running.was also told ecu.

ecu maybe- but did you have this problem before ya changed the motors? did you use all of the sensors off of the old motor-is the crankshaft sensor the old one-( lets call the old parts the old parts off of the old motors-its easier that way) im assuming that you used all of the old sensors off of the old motor and no modifactions were nessecery?is all the grounds connected to the engine? also try this using a set of jumper cables connect oneto the engine then find a body ground and connect the other end of the jumper to the body ground

ok lets do this go to autozone.com and put in your info go to repaur info and you will find chassis wiring diagrams-pull down the wiring diagrams for the chassis wiring we may need this
