Hello. I would be glad to help with this. Which panel are you refering to? The door skin or the vapor barrier?
Thanks.
Ok. After you remove all the screws, the door is held on by plastic clips. If you have a plastic pry tool that would be good. But you can use a wide flat screw driver, I you want cover the tip with some duct tape to help prevent scratching.
When I remove a door panel I go to the bottom and slide the tool under the door skin. Use the body side to pry the skin out. Some of the clips might pop free, then hold onto the bottom of the panel and pull around the outer edges. They will unlip, and the top is held by metal clips and might need a little more force. Just make sure you removed all the screws. If the screws are out you just have to pop it off.
So you know, when removing the vapor barrier, use a razor blade and carefully cut the adhesive as to not cut the barrier, work from the top down, do not cut off the bottom area, leave this attached and fold the barrier out of your way. This will help prevent any water leaks, and make sure you tapp the vapor barrier where the adhesive is to make sure it is stuck shut. I recommend using rubber gloves due to the adhesive has a cancer causing chemical in it (just to be safe).
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help!Good luck!
