Please help. Over the past year, our 7 yr old Himalayan has started hissing at my daughter and stepson (both adults). We''re guessing she doesn''t like their scents - deodorants and other body sprays. They do not live with us so the situation was do-able. Now, she has suddenly started hissing, growling, and actually attacking my husband. We can''t figure it out - no different smells, he has not been unkind to her...matter of fact, although I handle her basic care, he has always been in charge of her treats and more companionable with her. My husband doesn''t want to keep her if she''s going to continue acting like this, and much as I love her I can''t blame him for feeling that way. It seems she will now only tolerate me, and even hisses and growls at me if others are around. HELP!

Optional Information:
Age: 7; Female; Breed: Himalayan Cat

Already Tried:
"Time-outs" for her in the back bedroom when she starts growling. (She is in good health, regular vet visits, high quality dry food)
