Zyrtec for allergies, glucophage for type II diabetes, Zocor for cholesterol, and nexium for indigestion; blood pressure good - exercise irregularly.

Accepted Answer

There are some medications that can cause problems with ejaculation - however none of these medications are particularly famous for this particlar problem. Diabetes by itself can cause problems with the autonomic nerves that control both erections and ejaculation.

I would suggest making an appointment with your physician to see if there is anything that may be causing this - possibly trying some changes in your medications to see if this helps.

No recent changes to medications but diabetes is the newest problem (diagnosed 1 year ago), but I think your correct, because it can be managed better; I just don't notice a difference when I manage it or when I neglect it. Tks XXXXXXX

Answer

The problem with neuropathy (the nerve problems cause by diabetes) is that this is a LONG term complication - day to day changes in your level of control will not have much effect. With tight control of the diabetes you may notice some gradual improvement - but sometimes this is a irreversible problem with diabetes.
