Question

I have a mix breed dog, pomerenian/Shih Tzu, she is 4 yrs. and has lost a lower tooth, What is the reason, what can I do?

Hi XXXXXXX,

This is likely due to an injury or gum disease. Some dogs that are fed a soft food diet do become prone to tooth issues. I would have your vet check for periodontitis which you can read about here:
