Question

i am a 64 year old male, in good health, but have a 3 or 4 year old embarrasing problem of an itching scrotum and sometimes the area between the legs next to the scrotum. i have ask several dermatologists but get only general advice (use additive free laundry soap), and have had perscriptions for lotricome, and clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate cream usp. and several anti fungal creams, all of which have not helped. i have inspected the skin and the ithching seems to come from the pores in the skin from which the hair grows. these pores create a "chicken skin" appearance which i presume is natural. i suspect that i have a fungus or disturbance in the pores which is resistant to the anti myotic (fungal) and the anti biotic creams that i have used. is it possible to have a biopsy and labratory analysis. i have recently bought a pore cleansing soap meant for facial treatment, and am using a batroban 2%. is there a particlar clinic or university where i might find the best treat
