Is this a maintenance light, or a check engine light?

Reply to AMEDEE's Post: it is the maintenance light, i.e. it is NOT the engine service/trouble light. this light tells us that it is time to service the vehicle, which was done by our locale shop.

Accepted Answer

This vehicle is not equipped with a "Maintenance Required Lamp/Indicator". However, the driver is allowed to customize service interval mileage using the programming features of the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) , as described below.


Reset Service Distance (Displays Only if Service Interval was Changed)
When this feature is selected the current accumulated service distance can be reset to the newly selected service interval. Pressing the STEP button when in this display will select "Yes" or "No."
