Hi there!Usually a humming in the front end is a wheel bearing issue. If you are hearing it when the truck is in motion it's the likley suspect. If you hear it when the truck is sitting still and under motion then check the fan clutch,it could be going bad on you.Hope this helps! Thanks

Answer

OK,you may be into differential bearings or even a pinion bearing.Might be best to take the front diff cover off and make sure you have no metal in there.
