Answer

Arrest records are public records and anyone can find out about them; normally through a search at the courthouse these can be obtained, by a criminal background check, or sites like HERE. In our town they are published in the newspaper. If you feel your right of privacy has been violated then you can file a complaint against the officer with his office. Depending on the circumstances of the citation and speaking to the public he is more than likely within his rights. If you can provide me with more information I can further assist you.
