Hello XXXXXXX,
I would like to answer your question, but I don't quite understand the facts. you said seh has been abused by her 47 year old son for 2 years, but that she has made progress because her eldest son is now her Conservator. I don't quite understand the problem. It was very unclear to me where she now lives, and with whom. Could you clarify the facts for me, please?
Often when a person gets old the courts "rubber stamp" any papers that come into court because the family usually does not care. So, if someone submits an application to become conservator, and no one is there to object, the judge asks no questions.
You need to find out what happened in court by looking through the court file. Then you should file an Application to remove the conservator and get an attorney appointed to represent your poor Aunt.
Also, you need to report this to the local Area on Aging, the Social Services, who has a department for dependent adult abuse, and request law enforcement to do a welfare check. Get in there and fight and get those guys out of there while your aunt is still alive.
I wish you the best of luck with this.
