Question
I am unable to operate my business due to a fire damage which left my store without gas and water. The inspector determined that the store suffer no structural damage. The fire destroyed the back of the store detached from my store and the second floor. However the landlord of the property is not willing to hire a plummer to fix the problem, which is to provide water to the store. He is waiting for someone from his insurance company to take a look on the damages before doing any repair. My question to you is, what are my right if any? Since my business is currently close for three days and it might be close for a few more days. The store has been on business at the same location for more than two years. However I own the store for less than a month and the lease of the property was schedule to be sign this Friday.
