Hello,

What was your cat in for at the Vets office?

Are you having problems with her heat cycle?

Is is spayed?

We took her because she seemed stressed(uptight). She was't eating properly, urinating in only one area of her litter box and she needed her nails clipped.
Yes, she has been spayed for quite a while. She is a totally indoor cat

Hello,

The Megesterol is used to increase appetite in animals. That may be why he gave you that particular medication. Feliway is used to calm a cat that is very nervous. The Pheomones are supposed to make the Kitty feel like it was back nursing off mom. It may take a couple of days to work. All that the Vet has given you is to address the appetite and stress. There is one more thing you may want to try for stress, which is Rescue Remedy. It is made from Bach Flowers all Natural and when rubbed on the gums or the ear flap has a very calming effect on pets. It can be gotten in a health food Store or ordered online. I will give you a link to read about it. Hopefully it will work in conjunction with what you are using now. Joan

This article is on dogs, but it also works for cats as well. Joan
