Hello,
Where are the injuries located?
Is she eating and drinking?
Joan
You need to try and get the hair away from the injuries. Then please clean the areas with some Betadine and then apply Neosporin with the pain killer. This should help stop the pain and itching. This can be doen several times a day. Mice heal very well and the bandage is only a hinderance rather than a help. Eventually your mouse will stop scratching the injury. Make sure to keep her warm and all the food she wants to eat as well as fluids. You can even give her some Pedialyte in with her water. The only product that can be used to calm her would be Rescue Remedy which is rather pricey, but I can give you a link or you can get it at the heath food store. You put a dab on the mouses ear to calm it down. The Rescue Remedy is made from Bach Flowers which is all natural and non toxic. Joan

I am Vet Tech. for 30+yrs. who works with all animals. I do alot of rescue work with small animals.
I am in the US. You should be able to get the items from the Chemist without a prescription. The Betadine is a Provo Idodine scrub and the Neosporin is a Triple Antibiotic ointment. This should help the Chemist to set you up with what you need. I have friends In Autralia and they have been able to get them at the Apothocary. The Rescue Remedy can be purchased online. If I can be of more help please let me know. Joan I will be off for about 1/2 hour and then back if you need me.
You can use The Dettol Cream and that will help. Here in the States the Neosporin which is Polymicin, Bacitricin and Neomycin is sold every where. If you can get your hands on some Furazone or Bag Balm both of those are good too. The Little mouse will heal, but it may take a bit longer with a different Medication. Mice will actually chew and clean their wounds. It is a normal reaction. In some cases I have seen a Mouse chew off a foot that was injured and it healed well with no repercussions Joan
