how do i make sure the front end of my 1992 ford f-150 matches the transfer case? i have had some work done and i think the transfer case may have been switched out w/ a different one.

Even if your transfer case was changed it wouldn't matter.
The front differential ratio has to match the ratio of the rear axle.
If the front or rear axle was changed or the gears inside then you should be concerned.
What type of problems are you having? And what work was done?
