Info Request

Hello and welcome. Does your scanner have the ability to read ABS module codes? If so, does it come up with no codes, or no communication, etc.

the scanner dos not read abs codes

Answer

OK. you will need to get the ABS controller scaned with one that does. The traction light is on because the abs has a problem and desables traction. Some common things to cause an ABS problem are front wheel speed sensors-which is part of the hub bearing, or the warnesses to the sensors. somtimes the wire inside the colored insulation breaks, and causes codes-a little tricky to find. But before you can descide what part of the abs system to look at, you need to get the codes sanned
