how do i remove the ECM from my ''90 Pontiac Grand Am 2.3 L Quad 4

Already Tried:
the accual problem is taht 2 of the cylinders are misfiring causeing the car to run really sluggish and load backfires the problem just appeared one day and has not went away i have cleaned the fuel injectors changed ythe spark plugs and had the coils tested to include the small plate that controles the coils

Hi XXXXXXXX and welcome to Just answer, Super mechanic here. The ECK is located behind the glove box on your 90 GA. You just unbolt the bolts and it will come right out.
I don't think that is causing your miss though. Check the compression in the engine and see what it is.

well i have been back and forth with several techs and been step by step with everything that i have been told and everyone says that the next step would be the ecm but i have been iffy with it though because now i am starting to have to put money into it so far everything i have done has ben with minimal cost and i have minimal funds so how would i go about checking the compresion?
