Question

I am 57 years old. In 1988 had uterus and ovaries removed. For the last few months when I sit to have bowl movement I feel mass in the vaginal opening. can wipe and feel mass. When I push mass back in with fingers in can feel movementmove through to expell. Do I need to worry? thank you. kathy

As per your description it seems you are suffering from genital prolapse when pelvic organs like bladder, rectum slip down from their normal anatomical position and either protrude into the vagina or press against the wall of the vagina.
This can be rectocele or cystocele .
But symptoms are more prominent while bowel motion rectocele can be a possibility.
You should consult your obs/gyn doctor .
