Optional Information

Optional Information:
Port Orchard, Washington

Already Tried:
I have tried to reason with the Insurance Co. I did not get a police accident report, the other driver knows they were at fault. But the two ins. co's say we are both at fault and insisted I use thioer repair co.

Accepted Answer

No. Just because there is a previous dent in the bumper does not allow the insurance company or the repair shop to charge you for replacing the bumper now that it has been destroyed in an accident. Also, by law you are entitled to get an estimate from companies not recommended by your insurance carrier (and I would do that) since many times the insurance carriers repair shops are actually more expensive.

Good luck. If you have any other related questions please let me know. If you found this answer helpful please accept so I can continue to help others like you in the future. Thank you.
