Question

I have a 1990 chevy pick up trk 1500 , 5.7 engine. I have no voltage to the fuel pump fuse or relay.Engine turns over and I have fire to the plugs.Where would be my next test point for voltage to the fuel pump.     kmb3

Already Tried:
testing voltage with the key on at the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay.

Hello XXXX, You should have power to the orange wire at the relay ,if not check the gray fuse link at the junction on the fire wall. If the relay is turning on, you will then get power out of it to the in line fuse. The black and white at the relay will only have power when you turn the key on for a few seconds ,then turn of if the engine is not running. It is controlled by the ECM. sending a wiring diagram and some information to help you find the problem,Jerry.
