Answer

Hello. Go to Control Panel, then select System. When that window comes up, select the "Hardware" tab. Now click the "Device Manager" button. Go down the list until you see an entry for "Display adapters". If you don't see an indented entry below that with a yellow symbol to the left, your display adapter is working properly. You can make certain by clicking the + sign next to "Display adapters" (if it is there) to expand the list, then double-click on your display adapter name (probably the only one listed). A window will come up; click the General tab and it will display the device status, which should say

"This device is working properly. If you are having problems with this device, click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter."

The "Driver" tab will provide more details about the driver.

Accepted Answer

OK. Did you check the display adapter status to see if it is working properly? You should also check the driver information and make sure you have the most recent driver. What makes you think the problem is with the display driver?
