Question
My 1987 F-150 2WD V6 is just turnung over but will not fire (it is not getting any gas) I replaced both fuel pumps and I am still not getting any gas. Best I can tell neither of the pumps are running so I am seem to have a problem with power getting to the pumps. What Should I do now?

I would start with checking power supply under the hood and make sure power is coming from the fuel pump relay. here is a diagram .

Answer
The next thing after the fuel pump relay is the inertia switch which should be located in the passenger side kick panel in the floor board, make sure the small red button in the center is pushed down.

Isnt the inertia switch only going to need reset in the event of an accident?

Answer
Usually, but sometimes they will if someone bumps the area in the floor board with their foot into the side panel. You also need to make sure there is power into it and out.
