Hello Clarkie. I will sure try my best to help you and your Budgie but I need a little more information please.
Is the growth actually on the beak itself or on the skin near the beak? Is it maybe on the fleshy area just above the beak where his nostrils are?
How long has it been there and can you give me an idea about what size it is? Compare it to something like a pencil eraser or anything that will help me visualize it.
What color is it and does it seem to be hard, or soft, flaky, dry, scaly?
Check his feet and legs and tell me if they seem to be more dry and flaky than usual.
Have you seen any change in the appearance of his droppings; color, consistency, amount?
Many things with our birds are diet related so please describe his usual diet for me.
This will help me give you my best advice for the little guy.
