I have a house not quite 40 years old and today I put shut off valves on the cold and hot water supplies for each bathroom sink. When doing this had shut off the house water supply completely but when getting into the first hot supply line I had a lot of water still coming out, so quickly re-attached supply line. I then turned on both sinks'' hot water and also hot water in kitchen thinking I was going to get the hot water out of house lines so I could complete my work. It worked (I did not remember until later that I did not turn on hot water on either bathtub). When I completed the job and turned on water, I am getting almost no water hot or cold from kitchen faucet, a slow flow in one bath, and very little flow in the second bath. I''ve tried to open all three places at once to bleed, one at a time and a half hour later, situation is still the same. Note tubs and toilets are working fine..albeit spit out some rust etc. Suggestions outside of calling a plumber?
