My parents have traveled to Costa Rica with their 2 cats. If they over there for less than a year, is there still a quarantine period when returning to ghe united states?

I've been all over the internet searching for the answers for pets returning. I thought I saw a web site last year that said if the pets return within a year, that they would not be subjected to quarantine.

Hello,
This information comes directly from the CDC website and is about the quarantine of cats. If you click on the 45CFR71.51 it gives all the information on quarantine for cats.
