Hi there,
If your fuse is blowing, that means you have a short somewhere in that circuit.
It sounds like you already did the hard part: finding the part of the circuit that has the short, by diconnecting parts and now the fuse doesnt blow.
I recommend disconnecting the battery, using an ohmmeter and testing continuity between the power wire on the circuit that blows and a good body ground. If there is a short to ground there will be continuity. While monitoring your meter, remove, wiggle, and inspect all replated parts of the bulb area where you suspect the short is. When the guage goes to "OL" or "1" you have fixed your short. Repair the short, replace the fuse and you are good to go!
