Hi, since you have posted in the computer section, I assume you would like to sell the dayplanner online. There are several online stores which allows you to do so, like this one here. Alternatively, you can look for manufacturers from China or South East Asia. I have personal contacts with a printing house in South East Asia, pm me if you are printing a huge volume.

this is not what i expected my project has not been laid out, i need to know what my next step should be to my hand drawn spec's and then do i take it to a printer? i guess the question is do i need a graphic artist to do this, and what is the step after that a binder or what?

Answer

I see, what stage are you currently at? You have not deisgned the day planner yet? Is the design on paper or in computer? Please let me know as detail as possible.

the design is on paper, with all the information that i want and where i want for it to go. i can use some software but i don't have the time to do it nor do i know how to lay it out. therefore i need someone to do that for me. that is the level i am at now. what do i need to do now?

Answer

When you said you design is on paper, did you mean you had a rather finished design? If you do have one, you don't need to hire a designer or other people, bring that to a local printing press and they will handle the rest for you. However, if you design is not print ready, then yes, you do have to hire a designer to finish off first.

yes thank you, i did this all by hand and i thought that i had to have it on a cd first and i did not want to get all caught up in an unnecessary step. when i am done i would like to speak with you further about volume. thank you

Answer

You're welcome. No, you don't really need a CD, as long as your design is clear and final. The printing press can scan the paper and convert it to digital for you, and they are usually willing to do so.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
