No gravel or grit for a hookbill. Cuttlebone and a mineral block are essential though.

Aside from the pelleted diet, you need to include whole grains, dark leafy vegetables, fruits and legumes. Include the colors orange, yellow , green, plus reds too! Think sweet potatoes/yams, squash, melons, oranges, peas, chard, beets and others.
Seed mix is still important as well, but only about 15-20% of the overall diet and no sunflower seeds (too much fat, too little nutrients).
