Thank you for asking your question on Just Answer. For any weeds present RoundUp is a selective herbicide designed to kill weeds, roots and all. These herbicides must be applied when the plant is actively growing. RoundUp is available in many locations. The ingredients is not the same all of the time. They have added an ingredient to their products that will burn the leaves and appear to kill the plant very quickly. This is done for show only,and can keep the glyphosate from working as it should. I would recommend applying Trimec® 992 in the spring. It takes longer to see that is working than Roundup but will kill the roots and all of ant weeds present.
