will this cause the info display to read service suspension limited to 90mph

Yes it can. Have you retrieved codes that lead you to the RSS or just the message on the display? It will be a dealer only item new.

Yea, this is an expensive system to work on. Nice ride though. Did they give you any details as to what they were going to do for1500 bucks/

no just replace the rss module and any thing else
they could get there hands on like the left front stabilizer for $1300 and hub wheel bearings both for $1100 in all just about $4000
to get it out of there if I would let them work on it.

Man , thanks for the awesome bonus and accepts!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont have part pricing info I wanted to see what they show as a list price on that module. Tommorow i will find out for you what the price is of just the module and give you a part number, maybe i can help you get it done! Lets look into it anyway! Also if you do replace it yourself it will have to be calibrated with the gm tech2 scantool. Check with some local independant shops, many have the tech2 scanner, I have one, so that would be your only obsatcle. Most will charge one hour of there labor to do the calibration! Thanks again and let me know if you need more help!

I'll get this at dealer and I and a machanic will like to get this done this week along with the struts and wheel bearings.

I spook to a friend at dealer for Chevy and said he could get it at $671. far better than the caddy dealer at $1248.

The tech2 will allow you to calibrate the module and clear the code causing the message on the display.
