my 8 month old springer is lethatgic, wont eat, is drooling thick slobber and keeps retching or coughing not sure which? any ideas please

Hi XXXXXX,

What you're describing sounds like your dog ate something she shouldn't. Sometimes digging in the garbage or looking around on the floor results in this. What I'm worried about is that this sounds like a possible obstruction or something toxic. This doesn't sounds like a typical case of upset stomach. I would advise you to see a vet immediately, especially since she's a puppy and hasn't eaten. Puppies are delicate and require faster attention.
It's not too late, have her seen today!
