I have a Kodak ESP Office 2100 Series printer and need help

hi, i have a Kodak ESP Office 2100 Series printer and need help with getting it to print.
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: i am using my HP laptop which has windowa 7 operating system
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no, i did install new ink cartridges but it is still not printing well, everything is real light
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: just wondered if using a different operating system will make a difference, could not find in the printer manual if it requires a newer version?

Sorry this meant to be: clean.

When you go to the properties of the printer. there is a tab called: advanced.

From there you can do a cleaning of the print heads.

Or do you want me to do this for you?

Can we please try the following on the printer:

Press Home on the printer control panel.

Press the down arrow button until Maintenance is selected, then press OK.

Press the down arrow until Clean Printhead is selected, then press OK.

Can we please try the following:

Try powering off the printer, pull the power cable out of the printer, wait for 1 minute, then put the power cable back in. After this try printing again.

I have been working on this for days, the print test page does not show all colors it only shows pink and yellow and a little blue most of which is streaky

It can be a wireless printer, I am using the USB connected to my laptop

With this software you can do maintenance on the printer.

I have never had Home Center Software on my computer.
I really am not happy with this method of help, I prefer to talk with someone. I guess I will just have to take my laptop and printer to a live IT person who can help me.

I am trying to assist you to get into the maintanence menu of the printer.

From there we can do a cleaning so the prints will come out correctly.

We have already done maintenance tonight, as mentioned I had already done that prior to contacting you and we have done that tonight, I sent you an attachment of the test print? Not sure what you want to do I have done all three options in maintenance??

With the Kodak Home Center Software we can try updating the drivers and/or the firmware of the printer.

From there we can for example allign the printheads.

A program called Teamviewer will start downloading to your computer (it does not open a webpage, a blank screen will show but the file is downloading to your computer).
Run the Teamviewer program and it shows you and ID and Password.
Give me the ID and Password ***** please so I can connect
Do not close the program but leave it open else I will not be able to connect
