mp610 error code 5200 on lcd display. Won't start up beyond that.
JA: Just to clarify, have you double-checked the code? And what is the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: canon mp610 and the error code displayed is 5200
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: windows 7. problem just occurred today.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: circuit breaker tripped yesterday for the circuit it is attached to. Everything else on that circuit functions ok.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: other than I really liked the printer {my third canon} nothing else

Please followthe steps below :

  • First turn the printer off then unplug it and disconnect the usb cable. Remove all paper from the machine and then blow out the feed roller and paper tray thoroughly with a compressed air.
  • Once done plug in back in and insert a single sheet of paper.
  • Turn the printer on and then connect the usb cable. now test the printer and see if the problem is still there.
