When I used to hit scan it had the up and down arrows to

when I used to hit scan it had the up and down arrows to choose from scan to email or scan to file. Now it is coming up scan to FTP and when you hit ok it asks for a home address: I just want to scan to an email
JA: What is the machine's exact make and model? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: it is a Brother MFC-7840W and about 10 years old
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC

Customer: JUST STARTED
