It just had paper jam. I was able to clear the machine and it is fine now. Thank you.
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: It is a brother Printer mocel # HL4150 and it is about one year old.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: The computer is a Hewlett Packard pavilion. Window 7 is the operating system.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I replace the cyAN toner and AND RESET IT. My secretary was printing our bulletin double sided when it jammed. I was not here at the time and came in this morning to see what was the problem. I had the manjuel downloaded but could not find it on my computer.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no but I have the problem resolved and the printer is working again. I would like to know more about resetting the printer

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Here is the reset process, if you need in the future:

  1. Make sure printer is powered on.
  2. Open the printer's cover to reveal the toner cartridges.
  3. Press the two buttons Secure and Cancel at the same time.
    - Then the printer's screen should display a new menu.
  4. Use the + (plus) and (minus) buttons to select the ink cartridge toner you wish to reset.
    • K = Black
    • C = Cyan
    • M = Magenta
    • Y = Yellow
    • STD = Standard Capacity Cartridge
    • HC = High Capacity Cartridge
    • SHC = Super High Capacity Cartridge.
  5. Press the OK button.
  6. Close the printer's cover.

- If the printer's screen shows toner is out (or low), and if it does not allow you to print any more, then you can use the reset process above, then it will let you continue printing with having to replace the ink. You can continue to print until there is no more ink.
