I am trying to scan a hand written document and transmit from my MX 922
JA: What is the machine's exact make and model? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: MX 922 a few months old
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: a toshiba lap top using GoogleChrome
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: This is my first attempt to scan

  1. Click the Start button , click All Programs, and then click Windows Fax and Scan.

  2. Click Scan at the bottom of the left pane.

  3. On the toolbar, click New Scan.

  4. In the New Scan dialog box, click the Profile list, and then choose Documents. The default settings for scanning a document, which you can use or change, are automatically displayed.

  5. To see how your document will appear when scanned, click Preview.

  6. Click Scan.
