I find the registration ID
JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: it is a Canon MG 2920. It is maybe 2 yrs old. I went to print something and got a message that the printer was offline. I couldn't check the status for some reason. So I thought maybe I had not previously registered the printer. So I tried to create an account to register it but I need a registration ID.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: I'm printing from my laptop. This worked fine yesterday. I'm not sure what you mean by operating system.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: This just happened this morning. Before the offline notice I was on the print page and chose print current page.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I think that is all.
