I'm sorry about the issue. Are you able to print anything else, such as a document, a picture, a web page, etc.?
Are you currently able to make a copy from the printer's glass (not printing from the computer)?
Is the printer connected to the computer with a (USB) cable? Or is the connection wireless?

Thank you. When you print an email, at the print dialog window, does it let you select the printer name you want? (Check if there are multiple Canon printers.)
What email do you use, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, etc.?
