I have a new HP all-in-one and I needed to put in new ink cartridges in my Epson XP 410, The ink levels are high and the colors other than black print, but the black doesn't print. I did a nozzle check and a test page but no black, several times? I did get an Epsom notification about updated software for the printer but I was in the middle of trying to print black (again!) and accidentally hit No.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Epson is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: XP 410, about 4 years old. I don't use it much, so I am used to doing nozzle checks.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I can't find any references to troubleshooting.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: It does show a full ink level for black.
