Hi and Welcome. My Name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you today with your question.
Are you able to make copies from the printer itself ?
That will tell us whether the issue is with the printer or with computer. Let me know
Sorry for the delay. Then the issue is with the computer. What version of Windows are you using on your computer ?
Turn off the printer and unplug it. Then we can reset the queue of printer from computer. There are two method to reset queue in computer.
First method :
Press Windows key and X at same time and this will bring a pop up window. Select Command Prompt (Admin). Run it.
Then type the following commands exactly and press enter after each line
net stop spooler
del /F /QC:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS\*
net start spooler
Turn on the printer and try to print.
Second method :
Press Windows key and R keys and this will bring Run. Type services.msc and press enter
From the resulting window, find Print Spooler. Right click on it and select Stop.
Then press Windows and R to bring run again and type the following command press enter
Delete all files from the resulting window (from the resulting Printers folder)
Press Windows and R keys and this will bring Run. Type services.msc and press enter
From the resulting window, find Print Spooler. Right click on it and select Start. Try to print now. Restart your PC if needed.
Please let me know if that didn't work, so we can continue troubleshooting.
Can you go to Printers and Devices screen, then delete your printer from the list. Then run the disc came with your printer and reintall it. Does it work then ?
To get to Printers and Devices screen, just type Printers on the search at bottom and open it from there.
Right click on your Printer and remove it. Then reinstall the printer from the disc came with it or download and reinstall with the software from here --> http://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-pro-8710-all-in-one-printer-series/7902014
It is possible that the printer lost connection with WiFi. Can you reconnect the printer to your WiFi ?
Then on ocmputer, go to Printers and devices page, click Add Printer and add your printer. Does it recognize the printer on network atleast ?
Are you connecting via USB cable ?
If so, connect it to a different USB port and does it print ?
