JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: Canon MX410. Maybe 3 years.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC. Windows 10.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It has been appearing for about 3 weeks. Nothing special before. I have been just pushing the "OK" button to print.

Hi, my name is ***** ***** I am happy to assist!

The Ink Absorber message is an arbitrary message that doesn't affect the printer's performance.

To reset this artificial counter, do the following:

1) Power off printer
2) Hold RESUME button then press and hold POWER. (The beeper MAY sound once, or may not depending on your model.)
3) Hold POWER and Release RESUME.
4) Press RESUME twice then release both POWER and RESUME buttons.
5) When the indicator lights steady, press RESUME 4 times (for the S900, 3 times for the 8200 apparently).
6) Press power to set data.
7) Print away!
