The 552 error code is usually a internal failure that would require replacement of the Thermistor.
Please try this:
Press Clear Mode then 107 then Clear/Stop and hold for 5-10 seconds.
Does the code still appear?
Did you press the Clear Mode option?

How old is the printer?
Thank you for confirming. Unfortunately, it is outside of the warranty period and it will require an internal part to be replaced. The bad news is that the part will cost around $150-$300 plus labor cost. For that price ($150-$300), you can buy a brand new laser printer that comes with a 1 year warranty.
It is always up to the customer to decide if it makes more financial sense to repair or replace a printer but I would recommend replacing the printer with a newer model.
