My MFC 9130 CW is crunching the paper and smearing the ink.

My MFC 9130 CW is crunching the paper and smearing the ink. It was working fine last week. So I'm not sure why this is happening now.
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: It is 3 years old. see make above.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Since yesterday afternoon
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Hello,
Wrinkled paper and smeared ink usually means 1 of two things:
1. The toner and/or Drum Unit is not installed correctly, this is doubtful unless these were recently replaced.
2. The Drum Unit might need to be replaced, they only last for about 15,000 printed pages.

Have you ever replaced the Drum Unit?
If not, it might be at that point.

twice in 3 years. But I haven't done it in approximately 10 months. However even after replacing the drum unit, I still get the notice to replace it, notwithstanding the brand new units.
