it keeps giving me 0105 error and won't let me initialize print carriage
JA: What's the make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: xc 540 5 years old, just bought a brand new scan motor and replaced it
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: pc
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: it's not connected now, should I connect it?
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Service manual states:

Tool Carriage Connection Error
Machine fails to connect the Tool Carriage to the Head Carriage

Cause
Fault at Tool Carriage Connection
Loose of Connection Part
Fault of the Limit Position Initalize value
Limit Sensor does not work correctly or is broken

Action
1) Check for mechanical Backlash or loose with the Tool Carriage Part
2) Lock position Adjustment
3) Limit Position and Cut Down Position Initalize
4) Limit Sensor Replacement
