I want to print from an E mail.... there is obviously a WIFI connection, but the printer just feeds paper through without printing.
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: What should be showing on the small screen please.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: printer is XP 405 and about four years old
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Internet went down about three weeks ago ...local fault not just my printers and PC
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not as far as I am aware

Please confirm - are you trying to print from a Windows PC?

What operating system is on the device you are trying to print from?

Is the printer connected wirelessly?

Is the wifi light lit or blinking?

What is showing on the display?

Lost the connection to your site ...BUT granddaughter arrived and solved my problem very quickly and the printer is now running properly.
The printer is the one we bought form her three years at UNI and having graduated she has no further need so linked my I pad Air to the printer and passed this back.
Still use my Eason stand alone printer for our Bowls Club Finals and am able to have photos on our Board before. The various matched are finished ... I prepare captions for either side to be the winner .... members are very impressed with the service!
