Hello, I'm Wes, and I'll be assisting you today.

The bad news is that the clicking sound is usually a broken gear that skips and makes a clicking noise.

You can inspect the inside of the printer for any obstructions such as pieces of paper or anything else blocking the rollers, but it is usually a broken gear that will need to be replaced.

If there is no debris or paper stuck inside the printer, the noise is from a broken gear.

Replacing the gear will need to be done by a printer repair technician, but may be more cost effective to purchase a new printer if yours is not under warranty.
