Customer Question

We just bought a new Apple iMac (Sierra), but we have an old Canon color printer(We love it) PIXMA iP 6000D. Is there a d river we can use to connect to our new computer?
JA: Has your Canon done this before? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: I think it was 2005
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: i Mac with Sierra
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: We just bought a new computer and the printer is not working. Is there a driver available for a Canon printer that is this old?
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Hello!

Thank you for your question. I amCustomerand I look forward to helping you with your issue today.

Please be informed that Canon or Apple does not provide drivers for PIXMA iP6000D. You may have to purchase a latest printer in order to use with your new computer.

I apologize for the bad news. However, this is the honest answer I can give.

Thank you.
