Customer Question

Hi, it is connected by WiFi OK and does print, but the detail is too faint to read. The ink levels are fine and I have done a head clean but I still can't read what is on the page.
JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: It is xp 315 and probably about 3 years old or more.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Pc, Windows 10
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I've not used the printer for a while and just got it out today to use.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No I think that's all

The most likely and common cause to this type of problem is that your printhead is clogged and dirty. It has to be cleaned because a printhead is the part of the printer which puts ink onto the paper.

Would you like me to remote in your computer and work on this issue directly?

It will help me to understand the problem better and will give me a better insight on how to troubleshoot the issue.

I did the the head clean on the actual printer. Should this not have fixed it?

Hello?
Expert:  Md. Sadique replied 1 month ago.

Let's try manually cleaning the printhead.

Take a paper towel and fold it into 4 turns and make it little thick. Then add little rubbing alcohol to it and then place it in the path of the printhead carriage. Then move the printhead carriage over it a few times.
