I have a brother j450dw printer. It won't print. I have tried everything. When I troubleshoot it says can't fix problem contact network admin
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Brother is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: NFC j450dw
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Pc windows 7
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It was working fine. Then it just stopped. I reinstalled driver.s. At first said it was offline

We may not need to connect remotely as of yet.

Have you recently changed your internet service or router?

If you haven't, we should probably try resetting the printer.

To do this, turn the printer off and then back on.

Then while the printer is making noise and coming up, immediately unplug it from power.

Leave it unplugged for about 10 minutes. Plug it back in and let the printer warm up.

Then see if you are connected and can print.

Let me know if this works. We will proceed if it doesn't!

Have you been able to verify on the printer (NOT on the computer), that the printer is connected to your wireless network? Usually you will find this by pressing the buttons on the printer and going through the menus and settings.

If not, please let me know if you know how to disconnect (forget) from your wireless network on the printer and reconnect (typing in your password ***** your wireless network. If you do, then try this now.
